Platform

I have come to realize something that has changed everything:

PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT MY LIFE

They don't really care where I got coffee or how much I miss the beach or how much I love my friends. Yet these are the things I feel are most important to my life and most important for the world to see.

What does it say about the person I am if the most important things to me are dependent on if I can capture it myself? How selfish am I if I believe that nothing has worth unless it is directly connected to me? 

I DON'T WANT TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN MY LIFE.

I want the most important things to be the fact that racism, abuse and school shootings still exist. So why don't I talk about it?

Most important for the world to see

I don't think I truly realized that social media gives me a platform. This platform allows me to connect with anyone in the world. It allows me the space to promote, demote, or create and the knowledge that whatever I produce is being received by the world. So, 

WHAT DO I WANT THE WORLD TO SEE?

I want the world to see injustice

I want the world to feel compelled  

I want the world to begin change
