About Us
Mike Vayda (writer, producer, teacher) and
Heidi Warren Vayda (MA, Counseling Psychology) traveled to India…and came back with questions:
- Could they help people live poverty free?
- Could they help friends act on good intentions?
Realizing Good is already being done all around the world, they wanted to help humanitarian groups help more people—and provide ways for people “back home” to join in.
With the aid of Mike Miclon, an old friend, they formed NotFar.org. Together with a committed board and passionate volunteers, NotFar.org gives hope that we are not far from the world we wish to live in, and who we seek to be.
